Marine Plywood | Features | Usage |Precautions

Features
► Aeon withstands heavy impact of tossing and tuminginsea.
Withstands alternate weting and drying, when exposed to severe exterior conditions.
► Pressure impregnated with fixed type preservation.
Usage
► Maintenance and repair of marine and river crafts, fishing boats, racing Ixiats and assault boats. Interiors
of ships and liners ► Heat exchangers Cooling tower Public hording, signboards, display-boards etc.
► Portablecabinsand shelters, which are exposed to severe conditions Structural applications.
Precautions
Special care should be taken for scarf jointing Marine Plywood, while making longer and broader panels, so
that minimum tensile strength and other characteristics are retained.
Selected Kardwood veneers are bonded u-ith
phenol formaJdehyde resin. Undergoing a
preservative treatment under vacuum pressure
impregnation, reconditioning its moisture
content betv^-een 8%-15%, makes it resistant to
heat, light, moisture, termites and marine
organisms. Used in constructing concrete
columns, beams, slabs, bridges, jetties, tunnels,
silos and tombs, it is ideally suited for curved
formwork. Can also be used for flooring, wall
paneling, ceillings, partitions furniture and
automobiles.
